PAWS BETWEEN HOMES | BACKYARD DOG

What is Paws Between Homes?
Backyard Dog Care partners with local shelters and rescue agencies to save, love, and find homes for dogs who don’t have a home. We provide a temporary shelter, nutritious meals, cozy beds, playtime, and attention from our staff for dogs between homes.

Every dog deserves a FULL belly and a WARM home.
Giving Paws: How We're Helping Local Families

In addition to our Paws Between Homes program, we also have a Dog Food Pantry to help local families keep their pets fed and loved.
Keeping Bowls Full
The Dog Food Pantry initiative provides food and basic supplies for families struggling to care for their pets during the holiday season. Whether someone is facing temporary financial hardships, job loss, or an unexpected life change, we believe every dog deserves a full bowl and every pet owner deserves support.
Fueling Local Kindness
Our assistance is confidential, compassionate, and community-driven. We know it can be hard to ask for help, but you’re not alone. The community’s generosity stocks the entirety of the Dog Food Pantry. Every single donation item goes directly to pets and families who need a little extra help this season.
If you or someone you know could use a little help, we’re here with open arms.
